Our story
Marketplace SuperHeroes started in 2014. A lot has changed since then.
Stephen started selling online in 2010 and founded Marketplace SuperHeroes four years later.
Lisa joined as the company grew and now runs the business day to day as CEO.
Josh and Mike joined as partners because they were already running these income streams at a high level. We always want our students to learn from people who are actively doing this every day.
Today, we focus on two marketplace models. Amplify helps people build brand partnerships through Amazon, while Go Live, Get Paid helps people build a side income through live selling on Whatnot.
Both can begin alongside existing commitments, and both have the potential to grow into serious businesses.

Stephen Somers is the founder of Marketplace SuperHeroes, a leading online education company for everyday people that has helped over 10,000 aspiring entrepreneurs build side incomes selling on platforms like Amazon and Whatnot.
Before launching Marketplace SuperHeroes, Stephen worked as a data processor and was pretty miserable in a 9-5 cubicle in Dublin, Ireland. He wanted more freedom and control over his future, and after a lot of trial and error, built a multi-seven-figure Amazon business selling physical products globally.
As he built his own business, Stephen realised there was very little practical, trustworthy education available for aspiring entrepreneurs. That insight led him to create Marketplace SuperHeroes.

Lisa Somers is the CEO of Marketplace SuperHeroes, a leading online education company that has helped thousands of entrepreneurs build businesses selling on platforms like Whatnot and Amazon.
After joining the business in 2016, giving up her traditional career path as a psychologist, Lisa worked across every area of the business before becoming CEO, giving her a rare perspective on what it really takes to build and scale an online business from the inside out.
Today she leads a fully remote international team that has generated more than $35 million in revenue. Alongside her brother, Lisa has helped grow Marketplace SuperHeroes into one of the best-known brands in side income education. Together they are multiple Two Comma Club Award winners, Two Comma Club X Award winners, and ClickBank Platinum Partners.

Go Live, Get Paid Partner and eCommerce Expert
Josh has been selling online since 2015 and became a partner at Marketplace SuperHeroes in 2022.
He leads our Whatnot business and helped take the account from no existing audience to more than $414,000 in sales in under eight months.
